1930: Census he was living with his Grand father in law in Olean new York at 2236 West State Street in Cattaragus county. He was not a US citizen. He emigrated in 1906 and French was his first language.(Benjamin F Burgess, grand father in law)

Note: Built a house around 1930 on 24th street in Olean Ny. Lived there for 9 years. Lost house for financial reasons during the beginning of the depression. Moved back in with Burgess' and then to Bradford in 1940 with George Van Houtte on west Washington Street.

A copy of the Will of William Stewart was sighted by Joe P. Rhein. The will states that his youngest son was Alexander and his third son was Ezekiel. It also mentions his brother, Alexander. Speaking of Col. William Stewart, "From a younger son, Alexander, came the family of Lt. William Stewart of Cumberland Co., Pennsylvania. (Source,Stewart Clan Magazine and Mary Stewart Kyritsis) "He was called 'Buda Will' from his having fought in the siege of Buda (Budapest) in Hungry in 1686" (Source, Stewart Clan Magazine).
