Mrs J M Oakley Dies in Olean Following Illness

Olean – Mrs. Julia Maude Oakley, 73, wido of John L Oakley of Hinsdale, died Friday at St Francis Hospital in Olean following a long illness.

She had bee a resident of this vicinity for more than 60 years.

Surviving are a son, Orrin P Oakley of Hinsdale; daughters, Mrs. Frank Ellithorpe, of Buffalo; Mrs Ruth E Dangler, Long Beach, N. J.; a sister Mrs Anna Etull of Schreiber, Okla.; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The body was removed to the son’s home in Hinsdale where funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. The Rev Edgar T Pancoast, pastor of St. Marys Episcopal Church of Salamanca, will officiate.

Burial will be made in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.
