Fashion Show to Feature Designs Done by Zuver

Designs by Frederick Zuver of Florida will be featured at the fashion show planned by the Junior Woman’s club for the evening of Feb 12th at the Pelican Yacht club.

Zuver, a resident of this community, has but recently returned to Fort Pierce to have his own shop in which he will design for specialty shops. He was formerly identified with Bunny’s Casuals of Miami, his designs having been used by Burdine’s and one of his creations featured in Pathe News.

The son of Mr and Mrs H A Zuver and more familiarly known to his many friends and acquaintances here as “Teddy”, Zuver started his artistic career at Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, where he studied for a year. Later he was graduated from the Parson’s school of Design in New York City and then went to Paris, France to study.

In Paris he was a student of Maurice Tesard’s, was graduated from the Acadmie de Coupe de Paris and later studied Le Mood under Aline Expert at 11 place de LaMadeline.

His designs to be shown at the local style show include a navy blue short formal trimmed in fuchsia tulle and worn with a stole of navy and fuchsia; a white sheath linen with plaid silk organza fitted dusten; linen cocktail dress, with trim on one shoulder of amber silk organza, side drape and small bolero jacket; a wrap around Siamese print; calico and linen.
