Note: Abram's marriage record states that Abram was from Wisconsin, "formerly of the Township of Batavia", as apparently, Abram had gone to Wisconsin with his parents and returned to marry Lydia. Abram had bought 80 acres in Branch County for $100 and on 26 September, 1851, he sells it for $150 and heads for Wisconsin.
On 24 March, 1858, he sells 80 acres in Vernon Co., Wisconsin that he had acquired earlier to his brother George with no mention of Lydia, so we might assume that she died. On 24 August, 1858, he married a widow with three children, Jane Pidcock (nee Davis). Jane was probably born in Pennsylvania. Abram, Jane and their son migrated to Oklahoma after 1880, taking part in the "Land Rush". (Susan McDonough)
