Long-Missing brother visits Oscar Swanson

S.R. (Sven Ragnor L?) Swanson (b.11 Sep 1885) of Pittsburgh, Pa., came to Salamanca last week to visit his brother, Oscar Swanson of West Avenue, and on Sunday attended a family reunion of the Swanson family at Morris Park, Lake Erie, after having been missing for 22 years and given up for dead by his family.

He enlisted in the Marines while the family lived in Jamestown, and served with them 11 years, going through the World War. Letters home were returned to him, the family home having been broken up, and while he has been in Pittsburgh four years, it was not until recently that he located members of his family again.

Seven brothers and four sisters attended the family reunion with their families, making a gathering of 65 in all.
