Associated Oil Co. Selects Site for Deep Well
Mr. Roy Zuver, manager of the Associated Oil Co., was here this week from Rock River, Wyo. And together with Geologist Chrition Vrang, Thomas Jefferson, local field manager and R.V. Newcomb, a local engineer, on Tuesday made the location for a deep test well which is to be on the Clifton Fear ranch a mile Southeast of town, and on the NW, SE of Sec. 5 Twp. 29, R. 111 W.
Mr. Zuver left today for Rock River and will immediately start a standard rig and other necessary material on its way here ? meantime contracts will be let for the erection of a modern camp, which will consist of a cook and bunk house, coal and tool shed, garage, etc., and all local contractor have a chance to bid on the work. McKay and Ives, of the South Piney Sawmill have the contract to furnish most of the material for the rig and buildings.
The coming of this big company, which is a subsidiary to the Southern Pacific railroad and who hold large interest in California and Wyoming, has been looked forth to with much interest, as they are a capitalized company and will go thru with their plans to the letter.

You are herby notified that there is now article in the office of the Clerk of the District Court, in and for the County of BlackHawk and State of Iowa, the petition of Soloman Zuver claiming a divorce from all the bonds of matrimony existing between you and him.
And unless you appear thereto and defend on or before noon of the second day of the next term of the said court, that being the 17th day of September, A. D. 1867, default it will be rendered against you and judgment and a decree rendered thereon according to prayer of said petitioner.
