Mrs. John Barry, Custer City Area Postmaster, Dies
Mrs Pauline Moore Barry, 56 of Custer City, where she served as postmaster for the past 16 years died at 4:00 PM Saturday in Bradford Hospital. Mrs Barry, who was admitted to the hospital had been in failing health for the past several months.
Born in Bradford June 20 1896, Mrs Barry was the daughter of Maxwell J moore and Stella K Moore. She tended local schools and was graduated from BradfordHigh School with the class of 1914.
She taught school in Bradford prior to her marriage to John C Barry. She was a member of Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church Lewis Run.
Besides her husband she is survived by a daughter Mrs Robert Poling and two grandsons Barry and John Paul Poling Bradford, her mother Mrs Stella K Moore, four sisters, Mrs Katherine Neilly, Mrs Esther Chatley, Mrs Ruth McKinley, all of Bradford and Mrs Maxine Goble, Philadelphia and two brothers Maxwell J Moore, Bradford and James M Moore, Tulsa Okla, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Koch Chatley Memorial Chapel at the usual hours. Funeral service will be held Wednesday morning. A brief prayer service at 8;15 o'clokc in the chapel will be followed by a Requiem High Mass at 9 am. Our Mother of Perpetual Help Church. Burial will take place in St Bernards Cemetery.
