Note: He came to Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1672-3 with his parents,WilliamJacques, who died there before May 10, 1713. His widowed mother, Jeanne Daniel, chose to live with her eldest son, Pierrede Ronde, at Toulouse, and died there in 1714. Although Jacob Jack had disposed of the six acres of land in Mullaghbrack, County Donegal, Ireland, and returned to Edinburgh where he married, April 7, 1678, Nancy Farquhar, daughter of Alenander Farquhar and Margaret Leitsche, he again returned to Ireland, when his wife's uncle, John Farquhar made ready to settle there. In 1709 he settled in Letterkenny, Donegal County, northwest of Rahoe, Ireland.
