P.L. Siffrinn Dies in Olean Monday Afternoon
P.L. Siffrinn, 70, of 116 Rockland Ave., died in St Francis Hospital Olean, at 1:05 p.m. Monday. He had been in ill health and had been admitted to the hospital one week ago.
Mr Siffrinn was born in Germany and came to this country with his parents at the age of two. He spent most of his life in Kane, Olean and Bradford. A glassblower by trade he later was employed as a painter and wallpaper hanger. He had lived in Bradford for the past 15 years.
Surviving are his wife Alice; four sons, Franklin, John, Eugene and Peter, all of Bradford; three daughters, Mrs A Van Houtte, Bradford; Mrs Ronald Kent and Mrs Henry Debucce, Franklinville, NY, and one sister Mrs. Clayton Mix, (Clayton Mix died in July 1953, Mrs Mix was alive in Oct 1950 in Bradford PA) Daytona Beach Florida. Eighteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held from the home thursday at 8:30 am and requim mass will be held at 9 am in St Francis Chapel. Burial will be in St Bonaventure Cemetery.
The Healy funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
